The 2019 Student Grant Program has closed.

EECU recognizes that many students must take out loans to pay for their education. Our Board of Directors established the Student Grant Program in 2003 to help our student members pay for school-related expenses. In 2008, the board approved an increase to the program, doubling the grants to $1,000 each. Fifty $2,000 grants are awarded each year to deserving students.

The program is open to EECU members who are pursuing a post-high school education at a community college, university/college, vocational/technical school, or advanced professional training in the U.S. Members who submit a completed application and who meet the grant requirements will have an opportunity to be considered for a $2,000 grant.

Applications for the 2020 Student Grant Program will be available October 1, 2019. To be eligible to apply for the 2020 program you must be a member of EECU as of June 6, 2019.
