Individual Retirement Accounts
We offer two types of Individual Retirement Accounts: Traditional and Roth. We also offer the Coverdell Education Savings Account (formerly the Education IRA). All are available as IRA Share Savings or IRA Share Certificates.
Traditional IRA
A savings vehicle that allows you to make annual contributions, all of which may be tax deductible.
Roth IRA
Invest your after-tax dollars, let the investment grow tax-deferred, and withdraw your principal and earnings tax-free after five years.
Coverdell Education Savings
Formerly the Education IRA, is an investment tool designed to help you save for a child's education expenses.
All feature:
- No annual fees
- Dividends paid monthly or at maturity (compounded into the certificate balance, transferred to a share account, or mailed to your address on file)
- Insured for up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), part of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal agency.
