EECU’s Student Grant Program provides grants to help members pay for tuition, books, and other school-related expenses. The program is open to members who are pursing a post-high school education at community colleges, universities, vocational schools, or professional training programs across the country.
Fifty grants are awarded each year totaling $100,000 to support our members’ pursuit of higher education. Since its inception in 2003, the program has distributed more than $2 million in financial assistance to 1,175 students.
The 2027 Student Grant Program will open in October 2026. In order to be eligible to apply for a grant this fall, the person who is applying for the grant must be an EECU member, joint member or joint owner on an account in good standing and the account must be opened, or the joint member/owner added, by June 4, 2026.
