Verified by Visa System Upgrade- Debit Cards Only: Due to a recent system upgrade, all members currently using Verified by Visa with their EECU Debit Card will be prompted to re-create thier user password. This will happen the first time you conduct an internet transaction at a participating merchant or log into the verified by visa member site. 

You will see the following message: Re-Authentication Required for Purchase Due to migration of the platform and recent security upgrade, a new password will be required for the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode program. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Verified by Visa adds security to online shopping.

Give your online shopping purchases the added safety of Verified by Visa password protection. A password will ensure that you are the person authorized to make online purchases with your Visa Credit Card.

Once you've registered for Verified by Visa, your online purchase transactions at participating merchants will not be authorized until you enter a password confirming your identity. Once your password has been verified, you'll complete the transaction as usual.
