Individual Retirement Accounts

We offer two types of Individual Retirement Accounts: Traditional and Roth. We also offer the Coverdell Education Savings Account (formerly the Education IRA). All are available as IRA Share Savings or IRA Share Certificates.

The Traditional IRA is a savings vehicle that allows you to make annual contributions, all of which may be tax deductible.

The Roth IRA allows you to invest your after-tax dollars today, let the investment grow tax-deferred, and withdraw your principal and earnings tax-free after five years.

The Coverdell Education Savings Account (formerly the Education IRA) is an investment tool designed to help you save for a child's education expenses.

All feature:

• No annual fees
• Dividends paid monthly or at maturity (compounded into the certificate balance, transferred to a share account, or mailed to your address on file)
• Insured for up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), part of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal agency.
