POSITION / DESCRIPTION

BRANCH OPERATIONS

Part-time (20 hours per week) Financial Services Rep I or II - Reedley Branch

Financial Services Representatives provide a variety of member service functions involving the receipting and/or disbursing of funds and cross-selling products and services.  Requires the ability to accurately record information and communicate effectively.

Part-time (20 hours per week) Financial Services Rep I or II - Madera Branch

Financial Services Representatives provide a variety of member service functions involving the receipting and/or disbursing of funds and cross-selling products and services.  Requires the ability to accurately record information and communicate effectively.

Full-time Financial Services Rep I or II - Barstow Branch

Financial Services Representatives provide a variety of member service functions involving the receipting and/or disbursing of funds and cross-selling products and services.  Requires the ability to accurately record information and communicate effectively.

LENDING
Full-time and Part time (30 hours per week) Consumer Loan Processor
 
Respond to phone inquiries regarding the credit union’s loan products and services. Interview applicants and obtain the data necessary to complete the loan application. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and assist our members in selecting the loan products that best meet their needs.
 

Real Estate Loan Underwriter

This position is responsible for many activities in the Real Estate Department that are associated with processing and underwriting various real estate secured products. Candidates will be familiar with the underwriting documentary standards of the secondary market, including underwriting guidelines for Mortgage products offered, and possibly sold, to investors. Familiarity with credit union new account procedures, with at least five years of credit union experience is desired. In addition, they must have knowledge of consumer loan products, including Home Equity Lines of Credit.
 
Organizational and time management skills are essential. The Real Estate Loan Underwriter mentors various departmental processing positions and occasionally presents training before large and small groups of people. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, goal oriented, and possess leadership skills. This candidate will be flexible in job duty assignments, from loan origination to the more difficult mortgage analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for this position. A college degree in a relevant field of study is a plus.
 
Qualified applicants must have the flexibility to work schedules that include occasional early morning, late evening and weekend hours in addition to normal 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedules. This need is typically limited to periods that coincide with real estate marketing campaigns.
 

LOAN SERVICES

Loan Services Real Estate Specialist 

The duties of this position require a thorough understanding of all Credit Union loan processes. In addition to having a high level of knowledge on all aspects of Loan Services, with emphasis in Real Estate loan servicing, qualified candidates will possess a familiarity with the loan products.

Responsibilities of the position include:
Provide a high level of member service, professionally communicate and interact by various means with the member, department and other staff, escrow, title search firms, appraisers, real estate agencies, financial institutions, mortgage lenders, employers, credit report companies, sub-servicing agencies and correspondent lenders. 
Review, evaluate and respond to information in compliance with regulatory requirements of the Credit Union or policies and procedures, including secondary market standards. Encourage and support the continuous upkeep of all tracking systems for real estate servicing functions.   
Ensure timely follow-up for any post processing items. Ensure completion of final closing documents through use of the internal systems; ensure accurate and timely document delivery, expiration of any rescission period and funding/recording.
Assist and support with the implementation of projects, including software testing and developing written procedures as it applies to Loan Servicing.
Monitor all funded loans for appropriate trailing loan document. 
Assist department staff in efficiently processing the various servicing aspects of credit granting, and perform such additional duties as might be assigned from time to time.
Assist Quality Control Analyst with projects.
Actively monitor applicable loan reports, for tracking and compliance, to ensure the timely process of lien releases (Reconveyance), tracking for deeds, subordinations, demands, FHA title 1 tracking, flood tracking, 5 & 10 year call loans, draw expiration on Heloc’s, delinquent tax notices, and billing processing. 
Provide support to members whose loans are held by CU Mortgage (CU Liasion).
 
Qualifications for the position include:
A minimum of three years experience in real estate, with knowledge of consumer lending and the real estate secondary market guidelines.
