Marketing Director

EECU is looking for the right person to fill the position of Marketing Director. This challenging position will be responsible for planning and overseeing the organization’s advertising and promotional activities, with particular focus on our youth market, membership growth and product development. The Marketing Director will research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors in order to capitalize on market opportunities. Other job duties include: establishing marketing goals, business development, writing and/or overseeing copywriting, layout and production of promotional media and educational newsletters, evaluating market reactions to advertising programs. Participation in community and industry events are required of this leadership position.

Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising or related field, plus five years as a marketing supervisor/manager with focus on a youth market, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial institution experience is preferred. Candidates must be forward-thinking, self-motivated and creative. Will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. A high level of proficiency is required in word processing, graphics, spreadsheets and MCIF data base management as well as print management and copywriting.

Assistant Network Services Manager

Under the supervision of the Senior Technology Services Director, the Assistant Network Services Manager oversees all network activity including the installation of new network software, hardware and the maintenance of the EECU network. The Assistant Network Services Manager provides support for EECU employees and credit union officials who need assistance with the technical aspects of EECU’s information systems environment. Schedules network maintenance, ensures it is performed properly and thoroughly documented. Responsible to keep up to date on the latest technology and make strategic and efficiency recommendations as needed. Additionally, the Assistant Network Services Manager is responsible for supervising, training and evaluating the Network Services staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintains the confidentiality, integrity, security and availability of the EECU network, communications and computing infrastructure
  • Assists staff and officials with diagnosing and resolving system related issues
  • Supports new and existing credit union product/ service implementations and upgrades
  • Mentors assigned staff for development and career growth
  • Manages and maintains the network as well as monitors network performance
  • Assists with installation of new network software, hardware and applications
  • Identifies and installs software and hardware upgrades
  • Provides application, network (LAN/ WAN), server, VoIP and system troubleshooting
  • Manages backup/ disaster recovery plan for the network
  • Plans infrastructure for new applications
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and the impact to EECU systems and applications
  • Utilizes EECUs change management methodology
  • Manages and maintains accurate and up to date asset inventory
  • Performs other tasks that may be delegated by the Sr. Technology Services Director
  • Supports the credit union’s Anti-Money Laundering program by maintaining knowledge of regulations and performing AML procedures related to assigned area, with special emphasis on identifying and reporting suspicious financial activity
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and at least 8 years, in a related field is required. Solid understanding of technology systems and strong computer skills. Broad awareness of modern technology (i.e. Virtualization, WANs/ LANs, VoIP, etc.)
