2009 Election Results
Each year the credit union seeks volunteers from its membership to run for election to the vacant seats on the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. From November 2008 through January 2009, five (5) vacancies were announced in the Credit Union newsletter. As a result, four members volunteered to run for election to the four vacant seats on the Board of Directors and two members volunteered to run for the two vacant seats on the Supervisory Committee.
Section 501(c) of the Credit Union Bylaws states that "if no more nominations for vacant positions are received than the number of vacant positions, the board may, without further action, declare at the Annual Meeting that those nominated and qualified to be elected are elected."
Because the number of nominated and qualified members for the number of vacant positions on the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee are the same, the Board of Directors has declared that those nominated and qualified to serve on the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee are hereby elected.
